| Overview | The Atlantic Cup is a team tennis competition between LGBT tennis groups from Boston, New York City, and Washington DC. Teams compete against each other in both singles and doubles, earning points for each match win. The team with the most points becomes the holder of the Atlantic Cup. Boston’s Tennis4All last won the Atlantic Cup in 2006. |
| Participation / Skill Level | There will be 20-24 participants competing for Boston’s team. Participants play in either Open, A, B, or C divisions in accordance with the GLTA ranking system. All participants are encouraged to play both singles and doubles, but may request to play only singles or only doubles. Everyone is guaranteed to play between 2-4 matches. |
| When | The two-day tennis competition will be held over the weekend of August 2-3, 2008. In addition to the tennis on Saturday and Sunday, there will be a draw party on Friday night (8/1/08) and a banquet/dinner on Saturday night (8/2/08). |

| Surface / Format | Indoor Hard Courts; all matches will be 2 of 3 sets, regular scoring, with a 12-point tiebreak at 6 games all. |
